Our vision for the Van-Es Camp and Conference Centre is to be a vibrant, year-round conference, meeting, camping and retreat facility known for inclusive Christian hospitality - a place where all find welcome.
Our overall mission is to invite people of all ages to grow in their spirituality in a contemplative, safe, natural setting .

Camp Van Es is located in the heart of the Beaver Hills House UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a unique landscape, habitat, and place of significant indigenous history, between Elk Island National Park and Miquelon Lake Provincial Park. We are grateful to affirm our role as eco-stewards in Treaty 6 Territory.
The Moravian Tradition
Since 1941, Camp Van Es has been stewarded by the Moravian Church in Canada. Our tradition is rich with more than five hundred and fifty years of history. We are known for following Jesus' way of building community, prioritizing people and caring for the vulnerable. The motto of the Moravian Church is:
